Gen. Arredondo asks the Dean for additional support for Lt. Colonel I. Perez's division. The troops returning to Bexar to fight the hostile Indians are in dire need of more troops and equipment. On the back of the letter is an acknowledgment of the receipt of Arredondo's petition and a statement concerning the investigation of the total amount of money in the treasury in the account for the Indian Wars.
